CIS 435 Towson Norms Matter Online Weight Loss Communities Paper Summary
I’m studying and need help with a Computer Science question to help me learn.
CHI article review:
Each student will individually be expected to read a research paper from the Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) conferences from 2017 – 2019 and present a 5 to 7-minute summary of the paper during a class period. A one-page written summary, of why the paper is important, and what the student learned, will also be required. Note that only full papers (10 pages) from the CHI conferences, NOT short 4-page papers, can be read and analyzed for credit. All CHI papers can be accessed using the ACM Digital Library through the Cook Library at Towson. If you are off campus, make sure to use your Towson ID through Cook library, before attempting to access the ACM Digital Library. Note: check the first page of the paper, if it does NOT say CHI and the year of the conference on it, then you may not use it for the presentation. You will earn a zero if you present a paper that is not from the CHI conference, or if the paper is a short paper (4 page). You must select a title and send me the full reference via email by Monday, September 21. Your selections will be marked on a first come basis on a spreadsheet that I will maintain on Blackboard. The one-page paper summary will be due by October 7.
