Flat or House

I would like to speak about what is better to live in a flat or in a house ? Comparing living in a flat or a house is difficult. Someone says that living in a house is better than in a flat and someone the opposite. An I think that living in house is much better than living in flat. Fistly, I would like to speak about living in a flat. Speaking about positives aspects about living in a flat I should say that people who‘s doesn’t like working in garden or just being quiet and alone there really should choose to live in a flat as you don’t have any problems about that. But living in a flat there is and negative aspects.

I live in a flat. The flats are often smaller than houses. In flats there usually isn’t so much place as in a house. If a family has more children, the children must live in one room together. In most cases, people living in flats don’t have any gardens or cottages, only a garage. The main advantage of living in a flat is that flats aren’t so expensive and usually are situated in a town, where everything is near and handy. Secondly, I would like to speak about living in house. Living in houses has many advantages too. There are more places for living. Every member of the family can have his or her room.

A house usually has more rooms. In a house can be a big kitchen with larder, a workroom, a fitness room, more bedrooms, toilets and bathrooms and of course an attic. There can be spare rooms for guests and visitors too. In the house, there can be a cellar, where to store the vegetables and fruits from a garden. Next to a house, there is usually a big or small garden, where children can play and they don’t play on the street, where there is a traffic. For example, you can also keep pets there on a garden. Family can work in a garden, relax, or do various parties. Houses usually have garages. It’s very good place for men’s hobbies.

Speaking about negatives aspects I should say that living in hause is very expensive and it is require a lot of care: such as housework. Also in detached house you can feel like in your own castle. Nobody disturbs you, but also nobody helps you too. You house usually is in the suburb. There is cleaner air and prettier environment then in the centre. In suburb, you need to have your own car, because usually there is no bus stop and you have to walk for a few kilometres to the nearest one. All in all, I should say that I better prefer living in a house then living in a flat because it is much more comfortable and better than living in a flat.

Leaving Home Narrative Essay

Ladies and gentlemen, today I am here to share with you my views on leaving home. Leaving home is a big step. If you are thinking about leaving home, don’t go without a plan, STOP and THINK about what your options are, if you do decide to leave, it should be to live somewhere safer like with friends, relatives, alone, or a youth refuge. Living Away from Home You may start living away from home for a number of reasons, whether it is so that you can be independent or whether you had a problem with your parents or even just staying in a youth hostel. You will start off with a clean slate. To keep it this way see relevant chapter.

You might have to become quite flexible in your routine if you want to take the opportunities of going out. Also, you might have to wait your turn to use the kitchen when there are too many people, or have to compromise your favourite TV program now and then when people want to watch something on the other side if there is only one TV. Your routine might be quite complicated and hard to manage if you are doing a course or a stressful job, in which case it can be extremely useful to plan each week in advance which may take about 20 minutes each Sunday night but will save you much more time in the long term.

All teenagers hope eventually leave home. For most, this separation comes at a predictable and ritualized period of their lives, such as the start of college or the beginning of a marriage. For others, especially young teenagers, moving out of their home can be an attempt to protect themselves. It’s common for adolescents to look for ways to explore who they are and to see how they fit into the world. The timing may reflect biological changes in their brains, for they can now think differently than they did only a year or two earlier. They can readily imagine new solutions to problems or different approaches to challenging situations.

Their world is no longer black-and-white, but a complex mosaic of grays. An explosion in the possibilities they can envision for their lives calls them to re-examine their sense of identity and who they might become. They can picture themselves, often for the first time, as independent from their parents. For many, spending time away from their immediate families is a normal and appropriate way of testing their new ways of thinking and of forming relationships. These teenagers are very different from runaways, whose dramatic actions often point to serious underlying emotional problems for them or their families.

Children in adolescence are more interested in the types of decisions they are allowed to make. They are concerned about their future, not just rebelling against their parents. And need a safe way to testing what it would be like to live away from home. There are both advantages and disadvantages for living alone and moving out from your parents’ house The disadvantages might be that you would be responsible for all the choices you make and would have to support yourself, food, shelter, medical care, transportation, etc. but all these disadvantages can be regarded as a cornerstone for becoming an adult, who is capable of facing the obstacles of the world. It is the disadvantages that bring out the advantage of moving out, as you can now make your own decisions and enjoy the rewards of becoming an actual adult.

Finally, leaving home in this social environment has a negative views but eventually living alone has a positive side ,because the teenagers when he or she grow up has to be supporting primary responsibility , and know how to make a good decision, so guys lets enjoy life alone .

Church Pays Tribute to a Man Whose Home Was Its Steps

A vast majority of people are of the idea that homeless people should struggle to get a job, and that they are homeless because they are lazy. The reality is different from what is commonly thought. No one becomes homeless by choice. There may be a thousand reasons as to why a person is homeless. Instead of criticism, long-term assistance by those who can provide guidance is required. It is a fact that runaway criminals may disguise themselves as homeless, but not all homeless are criminals. Another misconception is that all homeless people are alcoholics or drug abusers.

This again is a misunderstanding. The reality is that this can happen to any one of us at any stage in life, as there is no intention or will involved in becoming homeless. At the same time it is a fact that these homeless are in continuous struggle to carry on with their life, facing problems in abundance. A few things should be kept in mind before helping this class of society. Instead of helping them in the form of money, the society should help them with things they need. Helping a homeless by buying for him his breakfast is better than giving him money to buy that breakfast himself.

The reason is that many homeless are involved in unlawful activities or addicted to drugs and if money is given directly, the result is more drug addiction instead of satiety. Shelter is another problem, especially in the winter season. Provision of health services to the homeless is a challenge for the medical community. Those who are addicted to drugs, or are affected by an illness need to be managed properly. Just like the common people, these homeless have needs which in a sense are special to these homeless.

It is not only the responsibility of the government to cater for these need, but the society is also under obligation to share this responsibility, for improving the living conditions of the homeless. Question 1: What kind of intervention, if any, would be appropriate here? The self-destructive behavior of Arthur Cafiero was perhaps promoted by his loneliness. A lot of people were around him, but perhaps he never felt close enough to anyone to share what he wanted, or simply to share the problems he was facing.

His intentions for suicide were not taken seriously. Who knows why was he willing to commit suicide? Was he affected by a psychiatric disease? Depression? Or was it a feeling of being useless for anyone or doing anything? An attempt to look for the root cause of his problems was the first thing that should have been done. Justifying one’s death by saying that he was willing to die, clearly implies that no one showed interest in knowing the cause of his problems. He was offered shelter, but he refused it.

Good counseling by an expert mental health care physician would have shown better results. Refusal can be converted to acceptance by letting a person realize that what is being offered to him, is nothing else but his own need which should be fulfilled under all conditions. Question 2: Do you agree with what Mr. Brashear says about Arthur Cafieros choices? Why or why not? Arthur Cafieros appears to be the kind of person who is very much limited to himself. He has a complicated personality.

On one hand he dislikes taking favors by refusing to take shelter, but on the other hand he returns the burger saying it has less amount of meat. It appears that Mr. Cafieros is not clear about his preferences. Showing resistance against police officer’s actions may mean he was afraid of their actions or that he had no trust in them. Taking an action that defends one’s right does not make him proud as Mr. Brashear mentioned in his words. It might be his love for justice and an attempt to keep this matter in his control.
