This paper focuses on I have a dream. Briefly describe the context and historical importance of this speech. Martin Luther King Jr. had a goal and a dream for civil rights. What is your dream in life, goal, or cause? Why do you think people should join or support you in it?,I have a dream-historical importance of this speech,As discussed in class, our 3rd Speech Analysis Assignment this semester is the famous Martin Luther King Jr. speech: “I Have a Dream.†,His speech was given during the, march on Washington for Freedom and Jobs in Washington D.C. on August 28, 1963. It was a pivotal persuasive speech that helped usher in the Civil Rights Movement in America and was Dr. King’s call to end racism and bring equal rights to all. My intention in assigning this speech is not because it is one of the top 10 the best persuasive speeches of all time, but more importantly because every human should hear someone speak passionately about what they believe in and make a “call to action†that really brings change!,I challenge you to think about this concept for the presentations in this class and beyond. Don’t just choose a random topic that means nothing to you or just complain instead, speak from your heart, your own experiences, and inspire change!
