Related to these figures, Slaght (2012) observed that developing countries suffer more from food scarcity, compared to developed countries. Godfray et al. (2010) made it clear that food production and its increase are very much related to the world’s limited resources. Therefore, it is obvious that both population explosion and climate change can be the chief causes of food scarcity; however, some effective measures can be applied, at least not to make the problem worse.
