Neurodevelopmental disorders appear early in life disrupting the normal course of development and often persisting through adulthood. In this assignment, you will select one of the following neurodevelopmental disorders to focus on:
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Specific Learning Disorders
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Intellectual Disability
You will review research on how the disorder you selected presents itself at each stage of life:
Childhood
Adolescence
Adulthood
In addition, you will discuss:
what normal developmental skill was disrupted by the neurodevelopmental disorder
what impact the disorder has on daily living skills and educational or professional performance
what possible treatment options are available at the specific stage of life. (See Content Expectations for the assigned topic)
Content Expectations
Produce a paper on one of the following neurodevelopmental disorders:

Information on the normal developmental skill that was disrupted by the disorder.
Impact the disorder has on daily living skills and educational performance at this stage.
Possible treatment options.
Adolescence Implications
Specific description of how the neurodevelopmental disorders presents itself at this stage of life.
Information on the normal developmental skill that was disrupted by the disorder.
Impact the disorder has on daily living skills and educational performance at this stage.
Possible treatment options.
Adulthood Implications
Specific description of how the neurodevelopmental disorders presents itself at this stage of life.

Format
Paper should include 3 to 5 pages of content, plus a cover page and reference page.
Use a minimum of 2 additional scholarly references, in addition to your textbook. Scholarly references can include peer-reviewed articles, journals, government websites and included supplemental resources.
Cite all information from the required resources/textbook plus the 2 additional scholarly references using proper APA style.
